1st Shoulder Buddy Game....

Today we played our first math game with our shoulder buddies.  We practiced playing Rock, Paper, Scissors to figure out which friend will take the first turn.  Then we played a game of Tic Tac Toe, and practiced using the concept words top, middle, bottom, inside and outside.  These game boards are in folders today, so have fun playing the game tonight!!

Most kiddos have PTG fundraiser Entertainment Books in backpacks today.  If your child does not have one, I'll give it to you tonight.  See you at 6:30 in our classroom for Curriculum Night!!

Gingerbread Hunt, Shoulder Buddy Pics, and #1 Class Rule....

We read the book The Gingerbread Boy today, and hunted for that little trickster all over Concord. We found all kinds of important things along the way. We saw the main office, the nurse's office, the library, and many other fun spots around Concord.

Two Great Reads and Our Shoulder Buddies...

We're off and running in Kindergarten!!! 

Today we read these two great books...

Ask your kiddo which one was his/her favorite!

We also met a special friend in our kindergarten lives.... our Shoulder Buddy!!  This is another kiddo in the class that we will read, play sight words and math games, and just learn with. For some of us, this might also be our first friend that we met here at school.  Ask your kiddo if they remember their buddy's name, and have them tell you about the game "Shoulder to Shoulder".

Let's show our Concord spirit tomorrow by wearing green/gold for Spirit Day!!
