You may have noticed the new Butterfly Garden one of our PEGS students,
Joey Musial finished putting in last Saturday. Tom Terrific, neighbor of Truman, helped Joey
with the project.
It is located just outside the courtyard. Please take a look at it.
Here are the plants they put in. Remember Host plants are where the butterflies will lay
their eggs and the larva will hatch, feed on it and develop into a chrysalis on it.
The nectar plants are the ones the adult butterflies will be attracted to and feed off of.
We should have a healthy supply of butterflies by the time we return in the fall!
Today, a crossover happened in our guided reading book. The Five Little Dogs made an appearance in our Bella and Rosie book! You've seen it on TV...
you know, like when Mork and Mindy showed up on Laverne and Shirley, or you might remember when The X Files and The Simpsons crossed over. Riley thought of when ICarly showed up on Victorious.
Can you think of any others?

Super cool butterfly garden. Tom Terrific helped us get ours started too. We are hatching butterflies right now. They are in their chrysalis right now. We have 5.
